Meeting Baby Jackson

I could not wait to get my hands on him. It felt like I had been waiting in the recovery room forever waiting to see him. Finally I get my hands on his tiny little body. I was shocked. He was so tiny.
His little face so so soft and sqooshy! I couldn't stop kissing him. He is a perfect little man. He already holds his little head up and looks all around. He is fiesty and strong. He reminds me a lot of Bella as a baby.
Mike and I looking at our new baby boy. He is so perfect. He doesn't look like a newborn. He looks like a normal baby just really small. He is so cute. I look aweful in this picture but I love this moment so much.
Time for work already. The nurse came in and said we needed to try and feed him. I am trying the breastfeeding thing again. Not sure how it will go but so far today it went well. I only have Jackson so we will see how it goes once I add Brody to the list. Right now I will pump for Brody until he is our of the SCN.
When I was finished Mike took some time to hold him. He is such a good Daddy. I am very lucky.

Finally everyone else gets a chance to see and hold him. Jen grabbed him right away and gave him to my mom to hold which I know killed her.

Jen get her chance finally. I think it was love at first sight. He is named after her son and looks like he could be one of hers. She is the best Aunty ever and I know these boys will have so much of her attention.

Jen finally hands him off to my Aunt Patti.

Jen, my Mom and Patti stayed for quite a while. The hospital is being really strict about visitors so I am not sure who will be able to come. This H1N1 thing is really scary. I am so glad Jen, Mom and Patti were able to be here. They are all so helpful in different ways. I am very lucky. My mom is staying at our house to help with Bella and Carter while I am in the hospital. Their are only a few days of school before Christmas break. What perfect timing. Hope we make it home for Christmas.
